The members of the Federation of Kenyan Intercultural Journalists (FEKIJ) and the entire Kenyan journalists and media practitioners are welcoming the importance their affiliation of the World Federation of Environmental and Intercultural Journalists (WOFEJ).

After seven days consecutive WhatsApp chatting dialogues in this month of June, 2022 as national Intercultural journalism gathering level organized by and hosted by WOFEJ.

Kenyan folks agreed to create their national level guild and it was better named as the Federation of Kenyan Intercultural Journalists (FEKIJ) while Mr. Patrick Mutsia was elected the first Secretary General of FEKIJ and Mr. Athuman Luchi as the vice president

The purpose of the FEKIJ is to develop their awareness domstically and re-elect a new president soon this year of 2022.

The World Federation of Environmental and Intercultural Journalists (WOFIJ) is aiming to rebild national  intercultural journalism institutions and by building their capacity of media professionalism to undertake engaging, incisive, accurate, impartial, high quality intercultural journalism reportage.
