WOFIJ is holding and doing an annual Media Excellence Award in every year in the month of January. The awards are usually the peak of a two-and-a-half-day convention where journalists are awarded for excellence and achievement in upholding the Code of Conduct for the Practise of environmental and Intercultural Journalism in the globe.

Winners of these award will submit their stories on broadcast, print and digital platforms after which a panel of judges who then determine the winning stories.

Starting from 2022, we hope a successful attracting entry from across the world in both print and broadcast categories. The event also provides an opportunity for partners to interact with media stakeholders and industry players.
